USAfriTrade is incorporated in Atlanta, GA. It is a 501 (c)(6) organization that promotes trade, commerce and cultural understanding between the United States of America and continental Africa.

The primary focus is to promote trade and investment ties, cultural exchanges and bonds of friendship between the United States of America and the African countries. In performing these functions, USAfriTrade places primary emphasis on serving the needs and interests of its members.

The USAfriTrade long-term goal is to continue in its role as a business advisory board which provides assistance to its members and the governments of the United States and African countries regarding issues of mutual concern in the bilateral economic relationship as well as stronger consolidation of the bilateral efforts to spur economic growth, create more jobs and achieve greater economic prosperity for the communities represented.

USAfriTrade benefits from the diversity and duration of its member’s experience in doing business and from their ability to collaborate on issues of importance to the governments of the United States and African countries. The majority of the USAfriTrade members have been active in business for a long time. Despite fluctuations in the U.S.-Africa bilateral relations, our members have continued doing business and generating economic gains and employment. Through these times, our members have accumulated strong knowledge of what works best for advancing political and business dialogue and they stand ready to share their views and support with the decision-makers on both sides of the Atlantic.

The USAfriTrade is non-political, not a lobbying organization. Its advocacy efforts aim to inform the American public and governing institutions about why better bilateral relations with African counties matter to U.S. geopolitical and business interests.
