
Titus Olowokere is the Executive Director / CEO of the U.S.-Africa Trade Commission. He is a technology management professional, business executive and a passionate Nigerian-American Community Advocate and Business advisor, with more than 30 years of domestic and global experience conceptualizing ideas, building operations, leading successful new business development initiatives and ventures.
Prior to his current role as Managing Partner / Executive Director of a technology solutions company in Atlanta, Titus had served as Senior Executive, of ipNX, the largest fiber last-mile operator in Nigeria, with focus on cloud-delivered services, fixed broadband wireless and cloud communication technologies. While at ipNX, he led the development of ipNX EMR, an electronic medical records management system for the healthcare industry.
He’s had an extensive background of hands-on expertise in the design and delivery of high-performance information technology solutions, IT strategy and business Transformation. He has served as the Regional Capability Area Lead at Accenture, and at senior management level in the Office of Information Technology at the State of Georgia. In addition, he has worked in various management capacities for ClearOrbit, Austin, Texas, John Holt Nigeria PLC, General Motors and UAC of Nigeria PLC.
Engr. Olowokere has made significant contributions to the growth and advocacy of the Nigerian Diaspora. Since 2013, Engr. Olowokere has served as the President / CEO of U.S.-Nigeria Business Council, a trade organization focused on improving the volume of trade across the U.S.-Nigeria axis, particularly in Agribusiness, Technology, and Renewable Energy projects. In this role, he has developed strong relationships across the aisle and consulted on several agribusiness projects in the public and private sector.
As a committed Nigerian-American Community Advocate, Titus has nurtured the Alliance of Nigerian Organizations in Georgia, ANOG, a non-profit organization, as the umbrella organization of Nigerian Community that brings together Nigerian associations in Georgia, USA, across community, tribal, ethnic, educational, social, political and economic lines. He grew the organization from a 14-member organization to 43-member organization in a 3-year period of leadership. While serving as ANOG president, he organized the first Nigeria Unity parade in Atlanta , the first Nigerian Community Leadership Development Forum as well as the Conference of Presidents to benefit, challenge and enhance the effectiveness of the Nigerian Community leadership in Georgia.
He has worked tirelessly with key individuals in Government, diplomatic cycle and private sector in the establishment of the US-Nigeria Trade Council, USA (www.usnigeria.org), a veritable platform to strengthen and enrich the non-government vehicle of investment and trade between the United States of America and Nigeria.
