Our Mission
- USAfriTrade is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining member communities through entrepreneurship, consulting and promoting trade opportunities in both U.S and Africa via interaction with both regions’ businesses and governmental regions.
- To advance community and economic relationship between government and businesses.
- Enhance trade and investment between the United States and Africa and promote the bilateral economic and business relationship at the highest levels of leadership in both countries.
- Provide members access to senior U.S. and African government and business leaders, deliver timely information, and facilitate member input in policy formation.
Goals and Priorities
- Promote a competitive African market through enhancing the continent’s investment climate and regulatory environment.
- Increase attention among members of Congress and congressional staff on broader U.S.-African economic and commercial relations.
- Enhance cooperation with key organizations across the aisle to ensure cohesive and coordinated strategies in promoting U.S. private sector interests in Africa, and vice versa.
