Dr Davison Todson Gomo

Dr. Davison Todson Gomo has over thirty years of management and executive experience acquired in different sectors of the public and private sectors i.e. Local Government, Tertiary and Higher Education, Financial Services, Civil Society, Research and in Corporate Leadership. In 2004, Dr Gomo became Principal of Cranbrook Business School based in Slough Berkshire UK. In mid-2010, Dr Gomo returned to Zimbabwe and joined the Affirmative Action Group [AAG] initially as Advisor to the President. He was subsequently elevated to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

 

He is Founder and Chairman of the African Association for the Advancement of Management Education [AAME] an organization that promotes a re-evaluation, rethinking, reconceptualization and recontextualization of the theory, practice and teaching of management and leadership in Africa in the context of African experiences, culture and conditions. AAME also promotes intra and inter African business, networking and investments. He is currently the Principal Director for the Zimbabwe African National Union [Patriotic Front].

He has held board positions at Elligo Plastics, Focus Security, was Chairman of R&F Intercontinental Holdings, Chairman Zimbabwe Industrial Hemp Trust, Board member Harare Quarry and Chair Human Resources and Nominations Committee. He is also a trade lawyer. He is a holder of several degrees including Ph. D International Business, Master of International Law and the World Economy, LLM in International Legal Studies.
